About the coffee
This coffee comes from Rancho Grande farm in Tres Pontas, Sul de Minas, one of Brazil’s most established coffee-growing regions. The farm has been in the Reis family since 1933, when Aneite Reis first began cultivating coffee on a small plot of land. Today the farm is run by José Carlos Reis and his son Flávio, who continue to build on the family’s long coffee-growing tradition while investing in improved processing and drying techniques to produce higher quality specialty lots.

Rancho Grande focuses on producing coffee responsibly, with careful attention to both environmental sustainability and the wellbeing of the workers who live and work on the farm. Through continued experimentation and improvements in post-harvest processing, the farm has been able to develop coffees with more distinctive and expressive flavour profiles.
